Local Michigan band booked to tour with rock supergroup HELLYEAH to celebrate the life of legendary rockstar, Vinnie Paul.
After the tragic loss of former Pantera drummer, Vinnie Paul in mid 2018, Paul’s current band HELLYEAH took time to mourn the loss and come back with a vengeance. On September 10, 2019 the band released the dates for the second leg of their upcoming headlining tour titled, “Celebration of the life of Vinnie Paul”. Alongside headliner HELLYEAH, is direct support from nu-metal band, Nonpoint and Michigan natives, DEEPFALL.
Hard rock band; DEEPFALL out of Greenfield, Michigan are preparing to hit the road for their first ever national tour. After many years of dedicated studio work, alongside playing numerous local and out-of-state shows it’s time to pay homage to a rock legend.
DEEPFALL came to fruition in 2015 founded by Tim King (keyboard) and Rich Hopkins (vocals/guitar). As the band continued to refine their sound, they had to part ways with some of its original roster. Currently, DEEPFALL is compromised of original members; Tim King and Rich Hopkins alongside Taylor Brandt (bass) and newly added drummer, Nick Gray. DEEPFALL is recently working under Pavement Entertainment, as well as securing representation from M7 Agency. The hard hitting rock group has even had the honor to open up for world renowned acts such as; Hinder, Saving Abel, and many more. The groups goal is to push the limits of hard rock while incorporating their own melodic style that differentiates themselves from other bands in the genre.
In addition, the diverse rock group Nonpoint will be serving as direct support to HELLYEAH along the tour. Nonpoint originated out of Fort Lauderdale, FL in the late 90’s and has been a staple in the community ever since. Over the years Nonpoint has had the opportunity to hit the stage with some of the most influential artists in the industry. In turn, taking the chance to tour with bands such as; Disturbed, In This Moment, Sevendust. Ultimately, allowing the band to play some of the largest rock festivals in the world and develop a diverse and loyal following.
